On Tuesday October 14th both our senior and intermediate hurlers travelled across the city to take on LIT in their respective league games. An under strength senior team (whom were without many inter county Tipperary players still involved in club championship) were outclassed on the pitch, losing heavily on a score line of UL 1-9 LIT 5-16. It was another busy day on the club hurling front, with six senior county finals played around the country. In Limerick, Kilmallock dashed Na Piarsaigh's two-in-a-row hopes with a surprise win at the Gaelic Grounds to claim their first title since 2012.
