The Limerick Un.21 hurling management team has announced that Adare Club player Declan Hannon as Captain of Limerick under 21 hurling team for 2013 season with Na Piarsaigh's Shane Dowling as vice Captain. Limerick took on Clare in a challenge game at Mungret this Wednesday evening and ran out winners by Limerick 4-16 Clare 2-09.

Former Limerick hurling star Eamonn Rea has been chosen as the 2013 Limerick Person of the Year (Dublin). A star of the 1973 All-Ireland winning hurling team, the Dublin-based businessman is a founder of the Limerick GAA Supporters club in the capital and has been an active member of the Faughs Club for many years. Following approval at the April County Board meeting Limerick GAA have appointed John Loftus as Commercial Manager with responsibility for all commercial relationships, sponsorships, endorsements and advertising. John has a long association with Limerick GAA. He is a member of Ballybrown GAA Club where he has served as Team Manager, PRO and Chairman. Irish Daily Star National League Division 2 Group 2 Limerick 0-10 Galway 1-05 The Limerick Camogie team qualified for the semi-final stage of the Irish Daily Star National League Division 2 on Sunday last by beating Galway by 0-10 to 1-05 in Mungret. Camán to Croker Well done to the Murroe Boher and Tournafulla who took in Camán to Croker in Dublin on Saturday last. 720 budding camogie stars from all over the country took to the field for a Go Games blitz and visited Croke Park Museum. This is the second year of the Camán to Croker competition which invites U12 Camogie clubs to enter a draw to play Go Games in GAA HQ. A great day was had by all. Féile na nGael Update The local Féile na naGael competitions reached Quarter-Finals stages last weekend. In the ‘A competition, defending champions, Patrickswell and Un.13 Champions from last year had a 4-05 to 0-03 victory over Ahane.
